West Ham United head to Brentford this weekend looking to keep their winning run going. The Hammers beat Everton 2-1 last weekend to stay two points above the Premier League’s bottom three and above rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
Brentford are still chasing Europe this season but have now gone six games without a win, having lost 2-1 to Manchester United on Monday night. West Ham beat one European chasing team last weekend and look to beat another this weekend.

Craig Pawson will take charge of West Ham‘s trip to Brentford this Saturday.
The 47-year-old has taken charge of close to 300 Premier League games since making his debut in the top flight, 2013.
After joining the top group that year, Pawson would not only go on to not only referee on the Premier League, but in several UEFA competitions including the Champions League.
Domestically he has overseen FA Cup and EFL Cup finals including taking charge of last week’s semi-final between Manchester City and Southampton. Saturday will be the 29th time Pawson has taken charge of a West Ham game, with the most recent being the penalty shootout defeat to Leeds United earlier this month.
Lee Betts and Mat Wilkes will assist Pawson, after doing so in the game with Leeds United.
Betts has run the line at over 330 Premier League games and has extensive experience throughout England and Europe.
Wilkes has done the same at 219 top flight games, and was on the line as Manchester City beat Watford in the 2019 FA Cup final.
The fourth official will be Andy Madley. Madley refereed the Hammers game with Brentford earlier this season took charge of the 2024 FA Cup final.
VAR
Tony Harrington, who took charge of West Ham’s game with Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest earlier this season, will be on VAR duties. Harrington did so in the Hammers draw with Brighton & Hove Albion in December.
Harrington will be assisted by Eddie Smart, who has doe so in 40 previous Premier League games.
