West Ham get new kick-off time for clash with Newcastle United

Share

West Ham United have had their kick-off time for their Premier League clash wit Newcastle United moved.

The Hammers are deep into a survival fight this season, and sit just two points above the bottom three. With West Ham‘s top flight destiny still in their own hands, they have four games left this season after beating Everton 2-1 last weekend.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will face Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium, with the Bees now going six games without a win.

After that, the Hammers will host title-chasing Arsenal in the Sunday primetime spot. West Ham will look to get one over their London rivals in a game that will no doubt have a lot riding on it for both sides.

The Irons will then make the trip to the north east to face Newcastle United. Currently on 42 points, the Magpies will hope they will be well out of it by the time this match comes round, but with the form of both West Ham and now Tottenham Hotspur, it could be a huge game.

The match at St James Park will now kick-off at 5:30PM on Sunday 17th May and will still be televised.

After the trip to Newcastle, West Ham return home for the season finale, where they take on Leeds United, in what could be a blockbuster at the London Stadium to end the Premier League campaign.
