West Ham are closing in on completing the signing of Villarreal star Pablo Fornals, according to Football Insider.
The Spain international has been linked with a move to the Hammers this past week, with the London club aiming to make a big statement in the transfer market this summer.
And according to the outlet, Manuel Pellegrini is closing in on his third summer signing, with a deal likely to cost up to £40million with the Spaniard ready to sign on the dotted line.

The report claims that the £40million will be split between a £24million transfer fee paid to the La Liga club, while Fornals’ contract of £60,000-per-week will make up the remaining figure.
Fees will also be paid in instalments across a number of years for the 23-year old, who will follow David Martin and Roberto as the club’s third signing of the summer.
Fornals would become the second most expensive signing in West Ham’s history.
