West Ham co chairman David Gold has confirmed that the club are yet to receive an official enquiry for midfielder Declan Rice, despite interest from a number of Premier League sides.
Manchester United and Manchester City have both been linked with a move for the England international, following the midfielder’s fine 2018/19 campaign with the Hammers.
However according to Claret & Hugh, Gold has confirmed that no enquiries have been made and West Ham’s co chairman is hoping to keep hold of the 20-year-old for the foreseeable future.
We want him here for the six years on his contract and another six after that. He is the complete package as a player and a person.

Rice is currently away on international duty with England in the UEFA Nations League, and played in the Three Lions’ semi-final defeat to the Netherlands on Thursday.
The report suggests that the Hammers value the midfielder for a fee in the region of £70million.
