West Ham target Kostas Fortounis could still join the club this summer, even if he signs a new contract with Olympiacos, according to reports.
The Hammers are reportedly keen on bringing in the Greece international, 26, this summer as they look to increase their attacking options within Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
And according to Sdna.Gr, as reported by Sport Witness, the London club would still be interested in making a bid for the midfielder even if he signs a new three-year deal offered to him by the Greek giants.

West Ham don’t see Fortounis’ contract situation as an obstacle, and with a first offer having already been rejected according to reports, the club could pay up to €18million for the midfielder.
West Ham sporting director Mario Husillos is said to be leading the charge to sign Fortounis this summer, with the Greek’s contract set to expire in June 2020.
