West Ham have reportedly rejected an approach from Everton for experienced left-back Aaron Cresswell, according to Football Insider.
The 29-year-old was believed to have been on the Toffees’ radar, however, the Hammers have now snubbed an initial approach from the Merseyside outfit ahead of a reported summer move.

An inside Everton source confirmed that the Toffees were keen on the player and admitted the club did make an enquiry regarding Cresswell’s services.
The 29-year-old, who has been with West Ham since 2014, representing England during that time, was believed to be heading for the exit door after the club placed an £8m valuation on the defender.
Cresswell has established himself as a regular for the Hammers during his five-year stay, with Arthur Masuaku providing an excellent back-up option last season under Manuel Pellegrini.
As a result of West Ham’s rejected approach, Everton are reportedly hopeful of veteran Leighton Baines agreeing to a new 12-month deal to serve as back up to the impressive Lucas Digne.
