West Ham have reportedly made a £10 million offer for Alaves centre back Guillermo Maripan, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, cited by West Ham Forever.
Maripan recently revealed that he will not look to decide his future until his Copa America tournament is over.
The Chilean defender has featured 23 times this season for the Spanish club and has admitted his desire to play in the Premier League.
Talking to Goal ES, cited by football.london, Maripan said:
It’s my second season in Europe, I feel very good in Spain, but I would like to go to the Premier League.
The Hammers are desperate to draft in a centre back after they conceded 55 goals last season.

However, the reported £10 million offer is very unlikely to draw the centre back to the London Stadium.
It is believed that under his current contract, there is a £24 million buy out clause.
West Ham appear to be favourites to sign the defender, with manager Manuel Pellegrini being from the same country as Maripan and both having Spanish links.
