West Ham United are in the race to sign Fabian Delph from Manchester City this summer, according to a report from Football Insider.
The Hammers have already been linked with a plethora of players following the opening of the transfer window, and the experienced England international is the latest to reportedly be on Manuel Pellegrini’s wish-list.
In 2015, the Chilean added Delph to his squad at the Etihad Stadium, and Football Insider reports that the boss is keen to reunite with his former midfielder for his second season at West Ham.

The 29-year-old helped Manchester City win a domestic treble this season and played a sporadic role under Pep Guardiola, who often preferred Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko in the player’s somewhat unfamiliar position of left-back.
This could see Delph depart the London Stadium this summer, with the Premier League winners likely to once again significantly strengthen their squad ahead of next term.
West Ham have plenty of midfielders but suffered from a lack of quality in depth in Pellegrini’s first season as injuries struck.
