West Ham target Guillermo Maripan is being left out of the Deportivo Alaves team despite recovering from an injury, as the club don’t want to risk his condition ahead of a summer move.
According to Marca, the defender picked up a knock in a La Liga game against Real Valladolid. The defender performed numerous exercises in the gym and did not train with the rest of his teammates in the time since.
Maripan missed big fixtures against Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and also Real Sociedad as he worked his way back from the injury.

However, Marca have revealed that the Chile international is available for his side’s clash against Valencia this weekend, but is still not training with the rest of his teammates.
West Ham are one of the many clubs chasing the player and Alaves themselves look like they are ready to sell him, hence why they are preserving his condition.
The Hammers are set to have a busy summer of transfers as they look to improve their side for next season.
