West Ham face competition from Southampton for the signing of Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who could leave the club following the Cottagers relegation.
The Serbian international has enjoyed a good season with Fulham despite their relegation as his 11 goals and three assists gave the Cottagers a fighting chance but defensively let themselves down.

According to The Express, as cited on London Football News, Southampton are plotting to make a £30 million bid for the striker but West Ham remain keen on the Serb.
West Ham will have to act fast in the transfer window if they want to get a deal over the line for the forward but the transfer fee could put the Hammers off.
Mitrovic came to England back in 2015 from Anderlecht after agreeing a deal with Newcastle.

The attacker joined Fulham on loan at the start of 2018 before making his move permanent in the summer but the Cottagers relegation could be the key factor in the striker’s decision to leave.
