Maxi Gomez has revealed he is happy to stay at Celta Vigo this summer despite seeing reports linking him with a move to the likes of West Ham, Liverpool and Barcelona.
The striker was a target for the Hammers in January, with speculation surrounding Marko Arnautovic’s future at the club, but Celta were keen to keep hold of their key man due to their involvement in a relegation battle this season.
Gomez enhanced his reputation once more on Saturday by scoring the opening goal in Celta’s crucial 2-0 win over La Liga champions Barcelona, to move them three points clear of the relegation zone with two league games remaining.

And the Uruguay international revealed he has seen the speculation regarding his future in the media, but insists he is happy to stay at Celta, TEAMtalk report via Spanish outlet Marca.
