Manuel Pellegrini is set to get rid of as many as nine players as he looks at rebuilding the West Ham side so they can compete with the top clubs once more, according to a report from the Express.
Included amongst the nine is former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward Javier Hernandez, with the club set to offload the striker even though he still has another year left on his contract.

The Mexican has scored has seven Premier League goals for the Hammers this season, taking his West Ham Premier League goal tally to 16 in 61 games.
Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez are also set to leave the London side at the end of the season.

Carroll signed for ยฃ15 million from Liverpool back in 2013 but a piling amount of injuries and lack of fitness has meant the Englishman has only made 142 appearances for the club in the six years he has been there.
Spaniard Perez joined the club from Arsenal last summer and has failed to make an impact since arriving with his nightmare Premier League experience is set to come to an end.
Samir Nasri, who joined the club in January, is also set to be released as he has not impressed the Hammers’ boss Pellegrini since arriving back in London.

Pedro Obiang, Adrian, Sam Byram, Jordan Hugill and Edmilson are the other players set to leave the club.
