Atletico Madrid look set to rival Manchester United in the pursuit of West Ham midfielder Declan Rice this summer, according to reports in Spanish outlet El Gol Digital.
Rice has been one of West Ham’s standout players this season following a number of impressive midfield performances, and the 20-year-old also made his England debut after switching his international allegiance from the Republic of Ireland earlier this year.
The midfielder is said to be one of two young Premier League talents catching the eye of those at Atletico, with Wolves’ playmaker Ruben Neves also reportedly on the La Liga side’s radar.

Rice has risen through the ranks at West Ham following his move from Chelsea when he was 14-years-old, and the midfielder signed a new five-and-a-half year deal in December last year.
The England international featured for the Hammers once again in their impressive victory over Tottenham last time out in the league, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side inflicted a first defeat on Spurs in their new stadium.
