Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a €25 million bid to sign Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite, who has been linked with a move to West Ham.
The Hammers had been noted as potential suitors, alongside London rivals Spurs, for the player, whose performances in Serie A have earned him plaudits this season.
Meite has established himself as a crucial cog in Walter Mazzarri’s team and has been among the club’s standout players this term.

The Frenchman, according to previous reports, is valued by Torino at a fee worth at least €30 million, with the Italian club intent to retain the services of their key man.
However, Tottenham appear to be prepared to test the waters with an opening offer. According to claims from La Stampa, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, they are willing to spend €25 million on the 25-year-old.
West Ham have been forced to contend with numerous injury problems in midfield this season, and recruiting a new player in this position could be on Manuel Pellegrini’s mind this summer.
