West Ham want to sign Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne this summer, according to Neil Jones from Goal.
Clyne has spent the second half of the season on loan at Bournemouth, and the Cherries are apparently keen to sign him on a permanent deal, but it looks like they’ll face competition from the Hammers.
Clyne has enjoyed his spell on the South Coast and would be open to joining Eddie Howe’s team, however, the lure of a return to London could put West Ham in the driver’s seat if a race for the defender develops.
Clyne was born and raised in London and could be tempted by a move back to the capital, and West Ham are likely to be able to afford to pay him a larger salary too.
Liverpool are looking for around £15million for the 28-year-old, who could be seen by the Hammers as a replacement for veteran defender Pablo Zabaleta.
