Former West Ham favourite Bobby Zamora wants to see Marko Arnautovic follow in the footsteps of Carlos Tevez.
With all the speculation surrounding Arnautovic’s future, Zamora can draw comparisons to the situation that the Argentine found himself in at Upton Park all those years ago.
Bobby Zamora, speaking exclusively to 888sport, gave his thoughts on the Austrian and explained why he should keep his head down amid speculation about his future.
I wouldn’t put Arnautovic and Tevez in the same category. Whatever was going on with Carlos – whatever he was being told and whatever was in the papers – he just got on with his job.
I feel that Arnautovic let his performances slip after what went on in January. That wouldn’t have happened with Carlos. That would have pushed him on to perform better to warrant a move.

After Tevez impressed in London, he was quickly linked with some big-money moves away from the club.
Having steered the club away from relegation, Tevez earned himself a move to Manchester United but remained a favourite among West Ham supporters.
Arnautovic himself was linked with January moves away from the London Stadium recently but angered sections of supporters with his actions, as his performance levels and general attitude dropped.
