Newcastle United have entered the race to sign West Ham United target Edin Dzeko this summer, according to a report from Italian news outlet TMW.
The Hammers have long been linked with a swoop for the Bosnian forward, who is set to leave Roma at the end of the season, with just one year remaining on his current deal at the club.
Dzeko has been in strong form for his side throughout the campaign so far, but at 33-years-old, his days appear to be numbered at Stadio Olimpico.

This has prompted speculation that he could be on his way back to the Premier League for a second spell this summer, following his previous successes with Manchester City.
According to TMW’s report, both Newcastle and West Ham are taking a keen interest in signing Dzeko this summer, but they have failed with respective offers.
Roma are said to have received €10 million bids from the Premier League pair, but this is likely to be an insufficient amount
The Italian giants are understood to be demanding a fee worth €25m for Dzeko.
