Tottenham and West Ham are reportedly battling it out for Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite.
According to reports in Italy, as cited on Sport Witness, both clubs are interested in signing the French midfielder in the summer.
The report claims that Tottenham have been following the player for some time now, but they’ll face competition from the Hammers.
Meite has gone from strength to strength in Italy this season after joining Torino from AS Monaco, so much so that his performances have not gone unnoticed in the Premier League.
Rated at around €30 million, the Italian side could make a quick profit on the player that only joined the club in the summer for a fraction of that fee.

Midfield is certainly an area that West Ham will be looking to strengthen over the summer.
Both Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere have been hampered by injuries this season and with European ambitions, Manuel Pellegrini will no doubt be eager to add to his squad when the transfer window opens.
