West Ham star Samir Nasri has escaped a driving ban, despite failing to appear in court, as per the Daily Star.
The 31-year-old was clocked driving at 60mph in a 30mph zone by a handheld speed gun in Ilford in November last year.
He pleaded guilty via post last month and as such, he didn’t appear in court for the sentencing. He was asked to attend but was under no obligation for him to do so, so he chose to stay at home.

Nasri was given six points, he was fined £400 and ordered to pay another £184 in court costs.
The incident occurred prior to Nasri joining West Ham and as such, the club are not expected to take any action against the former French international.
Nasri is expected to be in the West Ham team when they host Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United side at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.
