Aaron Cresswell will miss a sizeable chunk of time after breaking his toe against Fulham.
Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that the defender had suffered the injury following his side’s controversial 1-0 defeat to Manchester City, in an effort to explain the left-back’s absence.
The 29-year-old has been a key part of the Hammers’ season thus far, and a full-back injury crisis appears to be rearing its ugly head at the London Stadium.
Arthur Masuaku also missed out in Manchester with injury, and youngster Ben Johnson’s attempt to fill the void ended early with a calf injury.

Pablo Zabaleta came off the bench to replace Johnson, who himself had missed out on the starting XI with a back issue.
This isn’t the first spate of injuries Pellegrini has had to deal with this season, and the Chilean will be hoping and praying some of his perimeter defenders are ready to return to the lineup soon.
