West Ham United are among the teams scouting RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate.
According to Sport Bild, as cited on football.london, the Hammers have tasked their scouts to keep a watchful eye on the defender.
Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest, with West Ham’s London rivals also believed to have scouts watching the player.
Konate has impressed in the Bundesliga during the first half of the season and his performances have piqued the interest of Premier League sides.

West Ham have shown recently that they have an eye for a talented young defender after recruiting Issa Diop over the summer.
Coming in from Toulouse, Diop is widely regarded as one of the best young central defenders in Europe, with many tipping him to achieve big things in the game.
Konate, also French-born, joined Leipzig back in 2017 from Sochaux but has only truly broken into the club’s first-team squad on a regular basis this season.
