Stoke City are set to profit from a sell-on clause if West Ham sell Marko Arnautović this month, Stoke CEO Tony Scholes has confirmed.
The Austria international has been linked with a big money move to China this month, with the 29-year forward said to be keen on trading in England for Asia.
While West Ham will likely receive a considerable amount of money if they do decide to grant the former Stoke man’s wishes this month, the Potters will benefit too.

When asked on Radio Stoke about whether or not Stoke would profit from Arnautović’s sale, Scholes said this, as reported by the Stoke Sentinel:
Yes there is [A release clause]. We try to get a sell-on clause for all players but that isn’t always possible.
Arnautović joined West Ham in the summer of 2017, signing from Stoke for £18million.
