West Ham have confirmed that young forward Toni Martinez will join Spanish second division side Lugo on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year old Spaniard, who was recalled earlier this month, spent the first half of the season with fellow second tier team Rayo Majadahonda, playing 18 times.
Martinez scored twice in the club’s first ever season in the second tier before returning to the London Stadium.
Martinez, who the Hammers signed from Valencia B in 2016, joins Lugo who are 14th in La Liga 2. The White and Reds take on Malaga on Saturday.
