West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to confirm or deny that the club have bid for Genoa forward Krzysztof Piątek.
According to recent reports, the Hammers had had two separate bids for Piątek turned down by the Serie A side, who are anticipating an offer from AC Milan once Gonzalo Higuain has left for Chelsea.
The London club are desperate for forward reinforcements this month, and according to recent reports, will only allow Javier Hernandez to leave once a replacement has been brought in.

However, talking in a Q&A with Football.London, Pellegrini wouldn’t speak about reported links to the Poland international. The Chilean coach said:
No. I won’t talk about rumours, it is impossible to talk about so many names that are always involved around this club.
