West Ham have reportedly approached Barcelona over a deal to sign Andre Gomes this summer.
ESports3 reports that the Hammers have enquired about a deal to sign the Portuguese international, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham this summer.
The two clubs are said to be in discussions over a transfer fee for the central midfielder.
The player has suffered a hamstring injury during Barcelona’s pre-season preparations, but that has not put the London club off a deal.
Gomes is widely expected to leave the Nou Camp this summer after falling out of favour.
He has been unable to cement a place in their starting XI after joining from Valencia.
The La Liga champions are looking to trim both their squad and their wage bill this summer.
The likes of Yerry Mina, Paco Alcacer, Rafinha and Aleix Vidal are also believed to be on the market.
