West Ham’s Cheikhou Kouyaté is due to have a medical with Premier League rivals Crystal Palace as he closes in on a move to Selhurst Park.
Ed Aarons of The Guardian claims that Roy Hodgson’s men are closing in on a double swoop for Kouyaté and Jordan Ayew, while an official confirmation over a deal to sign Max Meyer is also imminent.
The pair had been expected to move to Selhurst Park this summer, but Palace needed to reach an agreement with their respective clubs

Hodgson has been keen to bring in Kouyaté for extra mobility in midfield, but a deal was held by West Ham looking to send the player to Porto as part of a deal to sign Moussa Marega.
Palace needed to strengthen in midfield after losing both Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Yohan Cabaye over the summer.
Kouyaté clearly did not feature in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans going forward, with a deal expected to cost in the region of £10 million.
