West Ham goalkeeper Adrian will sit down with new Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini to discuss his future soon but insists he has “nothing to prove to anyone”, as reported by the Evening Standard.
The Spaniard ended the season as the first-choice goalkeeper at the club and with Joe Hart’s loan spell coming to an end, Adrian could then be the only senior goalkeeper at the London Stadium.
West Ham officials have claimed Pellegrini will be given a hefty transfer budget for any summer business, with a goalkeeper rumoured to be a potential position in need of a review.

But the 31-year-old remains calm about his position at the club. Discussing his future, Adrian said:
We have to sit down and arrive at the best decision for everyone. Let’s see if they trust me and give me the opportunity to continue playing. I’ve been there for five seasons and I do not have to prove anything to anyone.
Adrian made 22 appearances for the Hammers last season but has been heavily linked with a move back to his homeland of Spain. Atletico Madrid and Real Betis have recently been touted as potential destinations.
