Declan Rice’s rise into the first-team picture will not go unrewarded, it seems.
The Daily Mail report that West Ham plan on offering the highly-rated teenager a new and improved contract worth in the region of £25,000-a-week after making the step up to senior level.
After making his Hammers debut in the final game of last season, Rice was named in the starting XI for each of the first three Premier League games of the current campaign by Slaven Bilic and after the Croat was replaced by David Moyes, he too has seen Rice’s enormous potential in the game and has kept him in and around the first-team picture.

The 19-year-old is currently tied down to a contract worth £10,000-a-week running until 2020 but the Hammers plan on offering him a new long-term deal which would see his wages more than doubled.
Released by Chelsea as a youngster prior to joining the West Ham academy setup, Rice has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season and the Republic of Ireland U21 international has been linked with Arsenal during his rise to stardom.
