After failing with a summer bid to sign Andre Gomes on loan from Barcelona, West Ham could be tempted into a move for the Portugal international at the end of the season with Barcelona ready to listen to offers for the midfielder, according to AS.
The Spanish source notes that both Juventus and Manchester United were interested in signing Gomes after he failed to live up to expectations at the Nou Camp following a £31.5m move from Valencia, but a transfer failed to materialise.
A peripheral figure at Barcelona this season, Gomes has started just one La Liga game for the league leaders this campaign and is set to leave the club in the summer.

Gomes, 24, could join up with fellow Euro 2016 winner Joao Mario at West Ham next season if the Hammers persuade Inter Milan into allowing the midfield to make his loan stay permanent.
Tottenham, along with Juventus, Manchester United and West Ham were among those keen on signing Gomes last summer and could well re-enter the race after the current campaign.
