West Ham are hoping to conclude a couple of deals before tonight’s transfer deadline and they may have been given a helping hand in one of those deals.

Earlier this month, the Hammers were linked with a move for Nasri as they looked to add some creativity to their midfield but GFFN note that the former Manchester City midfielder has been released by the Turkish club.

The Hammers have since signed Joao Mario from Inter Milan on loan until the end of the season but the injury to Pedro Obiang that could see him miss the rest of the season has left the team short of options in midfield.
Likewise, the departure of Diafra Sakho and imminent exit of Andre Ayew means West Ham are in need of some fresh faces in attack and Nasri, who primarily operates in an attacking midfield role, would fit the bill.
