The 28-year-old striker tried and failed to force a move to Rennes late in the last transfer window but has finally got his way.
After scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances in his debut season at West Ham following a £4.5m move from FC Metz, Sakho struggled with injuries and had his fair share of off-the-field issues both behind the scenes at the club and in the public domain.
Limited to just two Premier League starts since the start of last season, Sakho scored 24 goals in 71 games for the club in three-and-a-half years but has been keen to leave for the last 18 months.
David Moyes could enter the transfer market to replace the Senegal international with former Southampton striker Graziano Pelle touted as a possible loan target.
