Since David Moyes made the move to a back-three formation at West Ham, Arthur Masuaku has been one of the real success stories in the side at left wing-back.
The marauding fullback has put in a number of dazzling displays in recent months, providing a real outlet and source of danger down the left and some of Europe’s elite clubs have taken notice.
Italian source Tuttomercatoweb have reported that AS Roma are interested in signing the former Olympiakos standout this month as left-back Emerson Palmieri appears to be closing in on a move to Chelsea.
Moyes has been adamant that none of his first-team squad will be leaving this month given the limited resources at his disposal and Masuaku is certainly one of the players who has been most influential under the Scot’s stewardship of late.
Roma aren’t alone in their pursuit as the report claims that fellow Champions League giants Monaco and Manchester United were keeping tabs on the defender ahead of a potential move before the January transfer deadline next week.
