West Ham star Michail Antonio has been ruled out of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool, according to The Evening Standard.
Antonio, who was a key performer last season for West Ham, has had an indifferent season so far. Recovering from a summer operation to repairing a torn hamstring has meant that his availability has been limited. Most recently, Antonio suffered a rib injury in the Hammers 3-0 home defeat by Brighton. He also was criticised for his part in West Ham conceding a late equaliser in their 2-2 draw with bottom of the table Crystal Palace with West Ham boss Slaven Bilic labelling it as something that “should not happen at this level”.

However, there’s no doubt that Antonio will be missed by Bilic though, particularly his pace and power. Pressure continues to build on the West Ham boss particularly after West Ham failed to seal victory over Crystal Palace.
West Ham will be forced to make changes to the defence for the weekend with Pablo Zabaleta suspended, and injuries to Jose Fonte, Aaron Cresswell, and James Collins.
