West Ham are reportedly one of several clubs across Europe that are keen to sign Brazilian midfielder Matheus Jesus.
According to an exclusive report from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the Hammers are joined by Watford in their interest in the Estoril midfielder, who is currently plying his trade in his homeland with Santos on loan.
The 20-year-old is being tipped for big things and has made two appearances for his loan club this season.

The report states that Fiorentina are the club leading the race to land Jesus, and claims that the Serie A outfit are readying a bid worth just €3.5m to secure the midfielder’s services. However, this is claimed by Calciomercato to be insufficient, with Santos keen to retain the youngster for the remainder of the campaign.
Jesus is currently contracted to Estoril until the summer of 2018, and West Ham will need to fend off a host of clubs if they want to land him any time soon.
