The transfer window didn’t really end in the way West Ham fans were hoping it would.
Slaven Bilic went on a spending spree earlier in the window dropping over £40m to bring in Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City, Marko Arnautovic for a club record fee from Stoke and Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen, handing the club a great platform to build on later in the window.
However, the club rested on their laurels and besides the £3m signing of teenage midfielder Sead Haksabanovic, brought in no more players despite allowing several first-team squad members leave for relatively cheap fees.
West Ham will hope they’ve done enough to dig themselves out of the hole they find themselves in.
Here’s a look at what we believe to be the Hammers’ best starting XI if all options are available.
