West Ham are hoping to complete a deal for Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho for a fee which would break West Ham’s transfer record.
Carvalho will bring stability to the midfield as well as attacking intent to get start off the counter attack. He will be a great signing if he is put next to Cheikhou Kouyate, it gives him the license to be more attacking and to help create an attack while still being strong defensively.
If a deal does get done, it could seriously strengthen West Ham’s starting XI. Carvalho would bring a different class to the West Ham side.
