West Ham want to bring in a couple of statement loan signings this summer and Joe Hart really does top the list at the moment.
The England international is out of favour at Manchester City who have brought in two new goalkeepers in the last 12 months, making Hart an afterthought at the Etihad.
Slaven Bilic wants to bring in the experienced shot-stopper and Sky Sports understand that the Hammers are stepping up their efforts to sign him this summer.
The club would prefer a loan deal with an option to buy him permanently, and odds on the transfer are shortening, with Ladbrokes making the Hammers odds-on 1/2 favourites to sign Hart in the transfer window.
West Ham chopped and changed between Adrian and Darren Randolph last season but Joe Hart would be a certified upgrade on the pair and would be an impressive coup.
