After spending in excess of £70m over the last 12 months in order to help West Ham finish four places lower than they did in the season before, God knows how much they’d need to shell out just to make up that deficit.
It cannot be denied that the Hammers’ squad is not up to scratch in order to compete for those European places like we did in our first season under Slaven Bilic, and perhaps a number of players need to go.
