Only joking. They were abysmal. Liverpool came away with a 4-0 win away at the Hammers to boost their Champions League hopes, but pile the misery on the West Ham faithful as they saw their side crumble in the final home game of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Reds took the lead in the first-half through a well-taken Daniel Sturridge goal after some characteristically questionable defending from the ever-dependable Jose Fonte.
Although many refereeing decisions went against the hosts, it all got a little bit embarrassing in the second-half as Liverpool ran riot.
Philippe Coutinho bagged a brace, leaving plenty of West Ham players in his wake after some superb footwork on several occasions. James Collins decided he’d stop defending for the third of the afternoon.
Divock Origi sealed the deal late on for the Reds as he tapped home from close range, making it 4-0 to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
