Reported West Ham target Andre Gray has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to the Olympic Stadium and insists that he is happy at Burnley.
The Hammers are in the market to add depth to their squad in attacking areas, with Simone Zaza’s loan spell ending prematurely, Jonathan Calleri poised to move on and Dimitri Payet’s future in doubt, and were, earlier this week, linked with a move for 25-year-old Gray.

Gray has had a turbulent season, which included him receiving a four-game ban for homophobic social media posts dating back to 2012, but netted his sixth goal in Tuesday’s 2-1 FA Cup third round replay win over fellow Premier League side Sunderland.
However, speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, Gray was adamant that he is ‘happy and settled’ at Burnley and believes that the rumours may not have surfaced had he not bagged a Premier League hat-trick against Sunderland on New Year’s Eve.
I’m happy. We’re 10th in the league and I’m playing football and scoring goals. I don’t think I could be in a better position.

[On the rumours] It’s just what happens. If I didn’t score that hat-trick the other week then you might not hear my name. That’s just the way that football works I suppose.
