West Ham United have been left frustrated in their search for a new right-back and could now turn their attentions to Dominic Iorfa of Wolves, the Daily Mail report.
Back-up right-back Álvaro Arbeloa has struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League and will be allowed to leave West Ham this winter. The 33-year-old, currently sidelined with a leg injury, has made just three appearances since signing for West Ham last summer.
The Hammers have been unable to reach an agreement with Stoke for priority target Glenn Johnson, while Spurs are unwilling to negotiate a deal for Kieran Trippier.
West Ham will now explore the possibility of signing 21-year-old Iorfa, though it is highly unlikely Wolves will entertain such discussions – unless an extortionate offer is tabled.
Hull City’s Ahmed Elmohamady is another reported target, as per The Mail. The versatile 29-year-old, capable of playing any position down the right-hand side, has made over 150 Premier League appearances throughout his career for Hull and former club Sunderland.
