AC Milan will look to offload West Ham target Carlos Bacca this January transfer window, according to Italian source Leggo (via talkSPORT).
Bacca has netted six times in 13 appearances this campaign, averaging a return of a goal every 154 minutes – far greater than any West Ham striker has managed this season. In fact, Diafra Sakho is the only striker in East London who has netted this season. Michail Antonio, who spent a lengthy spell at right-back last season, is currently the club’s top scorer this season with six.
West Ham made signing Bacca one of their priorities in the most recent summer window and even had a £25.5milion bid accepted by Milan – but the Colombian striker opted to remain in Italy. Several months on and the Hammers may be set to revive their interest.
According to the report, cash-strapped Milan are looking to free up funds in order to make much-needed improvements this January window and are therefore preparing to offload Bacca. The Italian outfit are confident of banking at least £25million for the 30-year-old.

West Ham will face stiff competition in their pursuit of Bacca, however. Valencia and PSG are said to be keen on bolstering their striking options this January and have both placed Bacca on their short-lists.
There are two potential stumbling blocks facing West Ham that both Leggo and talkSPORT fail to mention. Firstly, what’s to say Bacca has changed his mind on a move to West Ham? The Colombian already rejected the chance to join West Ham in the summer – when Europa League football was on the cards.
Secondly, Simone Zaza. Will David Gold and David Sullivan want to spend big on another Serie A striker considering the outcome of the last one? Zaza may need to be offloaded first.
