An investigation will begin after violence broke out between Chelsea fans and West Ham fans at full-time of their EFL Cup game clash.
Bottles and seats were ripped apart and thrown at the London Stadium. Bottles were thrown, in which a photograph saw a fan with blood pouring down his face after a coin was thrown at the supporter.

However, the main trouble flared up in the final minutes of West Ham’s 2-1 victory over London rivals Chelsea. Rival fans gathered in gangways, however, West Hams stewards did try to keep both sets of supporters segregated, but bottles and chairs were been thrown and there were reports of scuffles breaking out between both sets of fans.
Since the nature of the rivalry, Police were also on hand for the very first time this season in the London Stadium. However, West Ham, The Football Association and the Metropolitan Police, are set to review what caused the fighting between fans after weeks of planning for what is a high-risk fixture.
However, West Ham have threatened to ban fans for life following crowd trouble during their 2-1 win over Chelsea.
