Fiorentina want to complete a move for Pedro Obiang before the end of the transfer window, although are some way away from West Ham in terms of the type of deal they want for the player, according to Gazzetta World.
The midfielder seems to be surplus to requirements at the London Stadium after moving to the Premier League from Sampdoria last summer. Several clubs have expressed an interest in taking him back to Italy, with Fiorentina one of those eager. They want to bring in Obiang on a temporary deal, with an obligation to make the move permanent in 12 months’ time.

However, The Hammers want to offload him now, with an asking price of €5 million (£4.3 million). The 24-year-old arrived at Upton Park for a similar fee last year, and despite playing 34 games under Slaven Bilic, he looks to be leaving having failed to start either of the Premier League games so far this season – he made his first appearance of the season as a late substitute at home to Bournemouth on Sunday.
Obiang was a successful player during his time in Italy with Sampdoria, playing 122 Serie A games and scoring four times.
