The arrivals of former France under-19 international Arthur Masuaku and Francophone-speaking Ghanaian international Andre Ayew were slyly clever pieces of business by our owners.
To introduce more players into the squad to make star man Dimitri Payet feel at home means that we can hopefully keep the French maestro at the club for a longer period of time.
So to mark the arrival of our new left back Arthur Masuaku from Olympiakos, I will take a glance back at some of the French players that West Ham have employed previously.
