It is being reported by the South Shields Gazette that West Ham’s move for Diafra Sakho could be ‘back on’ in the coming weeks. This is because West Ham are finally in advanced talks with a striker in the form of Colombian international Carlos Bacca.
Sam Allardyce has wanted Diafra Sakho for some time but West Ham have been unwilling to sell him until they found his replacement. This has been largely delayed as the Hammers have been turned down by top players such as Alexandre Lacazette and Michy Batshuayi.

Sam Allardyce will be delighted by the fact West Ham are finally in concrete talks to sign a striker as he has grown largely ‘impatient’ by the whole fiasco according to the source.
Sakho has reportedly recieved interest from West Brom, Watford and Crystal Palace but he prefers a reunion with Sam Allardyce as he thrived in his system previously.
