Leeds United have opened negotiations with League One side Walsall regarding a potential swoop for West Ham. Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham target Rico Henry, according to the Daily Mail.
The Championship side’s interest in the English full-back was reported in the Mirror last week, and it seems as though Leeds have followed it up with an official approach.
Yorkshire based Leeds are said to be worried about the potential departure of Charlie Taylor this summer, and if he was to be replaced, Henry is the club’s first choice as he is a like-for-like swap.

Taylor has only recently entered the last year on his current contract at Elland Road, but has already attracted a number of Premier League sides who are now showing an interest in his services.
It was only last week when Leeds owner Massimo Cellino was speaking to the media, suggesting that Taylor will not be sold, unlike Sam Bryam and Lewis Cook who went onto the English top-flight with West Ham and Bournemouth respectively with both of their contracts with Leeds entering the final year.
If Taylor does depart, Leeds will be entitled to compensation, if the 22-year-old joins another English club.
The Mirror are also reporting that West Ham target Henry is subject of a £1m bid from Garry Monk’s side.
