Michy Batshuayi is ready to reject a move to Crystal Palace in hope of securing a move to Tottenham Hotspur or West Ham United instead.
Last night Crystal Palace had an ambitious bid of €38million euros accepted by Marseille – a bid that is nearly three times bigger than the club record £10million pound that they spent to acquire the services of Yohan Cabaye last summer.
Early reports indicate that he will reject a move to South London, in order to play for a club who features in a European competition this season. He is now hoping that other clubs will firm up their interest in him, with Spurs, West Ham and other teams on the continent, such as Atlético Madrid and Juventus, also rumoured to be interested in acquiring the 22-year-old’s services.

The Daily Mail say Spurs are set to win the race for Batshuayi, but overlook the fact that they are unprepared to match Marseille’s asking price, unlike West Ham. Marseille must sell the powerful and acrobatic Belgian striker before July 5th in order to raise funds, or risk facing a transfer embargo, so Spurs have to act fast or risk losing him to West Ham.
Batshuayi is one of the most sought after players this summer and there will be plenty more twists and turns before he eventually moves.
