West Ham are among a host of clubs chasing wantaway Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen, according to the Daily Star.
It is believed that Swansea City are preparing a second bid, in the region of £10million, for Allen, having already had an £8million bid rejected this month.
The Swans remain hopeful of re-signing Allen, but West Brom and West Ham also hold an interest, as well as former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.
Liverpool are keen on offloading Allen this summer in order to recuperate as much of the £15million they paid Swansea for him in 2012. The 26-year-old’s contract expires in twelve months time, which would allow him to sign for the club of his choice on a free transfer.

Allen is currently with the Welsh national team at the European Championships and has played exceptionally well so far. His fellow countryman Gareth Bale even publicly voiced his admiration of Allen after the topped Group B.
“We know how vitally important he is and how amazing he is,” Bale said.
