On Thursday June 23, 2016, The United Kingdom voted democratically to leave the European Union, with a slim majority of 51.9% of voters opting out.
No one really knows what this means for Britain – other than no longer being part of the largest trade union in the world.
While the majority of people wanted to leave the EU (albeit, slim majority), many economists, politicians and EU experts are stating that this decision will have a catastrophic affect on our economy in the coming years.
Depending on what you read, unemployment will rise, the economy will shrink and as we are seeing the value of the pound is diminishing.
Then again, this is what we wanted, right?
Whether this turns out to be the right or wrong decision remains to be seen, but regardless, West Ham have made some real shocking moves in the transfer market in their time.
We’ve picked out eight decisions/transfer moves West Ham have made which are worse than the decision to leave the EU.
